No yoga experience necessary! This 6-week series of accessible, chair-based yoga classes is designed for seniors, and will help you learn how to support your body as you age, helping to keep you feeling limber and vibrant. Through this series, you'll build strength and support your joints to help prevent falls and other injuries. You'll also stretch out tightness and learn mindfulness practices that help improve mental wellbeing.

MINDful Movement for Seniors is open to all seniors, but Janet has specifically created and structured these classes to be beneficial for seniors who are experiencing cognitive decline, as well as their caregivers.

These chair-based yoga classes will help to ease your aches and pains, calm your nervous system, and activate your mind/body connection.

April 13, 20, 27 | May 4, 11, 18

About the instructor:

Janet Laroche

Janet is a caregiver at a local Dementia care facility and a certified yoga instructor. 

She's passionate about offering yoga to elders, and finding moments of joy and connectedness through yoga.
