We know that in today's fast paced world, with its focus on hustle and productivity, true wellness is often shuffled to the backburner. We're tired of white knuckling our way through life. This is why we created Kind Society... because you deserve to not only give yourself a little kindness, but to make it a priority.
Practicing embodied and intentional movement is one of the fastest and most effective ways to decrease stress, increase mental and emotional capacity, and build functional mobility, strength, and flexibility in your body. This trifecta of wellness in body, mind, and spirit can lead to higher sense of satisfaction, and the ability to be truly present in each and every moment of your one wild and precious life.
Cultivating a sense of wellbeing might look a little different to everyone. That's why we offer a variety of embodied movement yoga classes: from slow and restorative yin yoga, to classes designed specifically for seniors, to spicy and empowering vinyasa flow. When you join our community, you can be confident you'll find a class and a teacher that meets you where you're at.
As Nanaimo's only non-profit provider of accessible, inclusive, trauma-informed yoga, we work hard to ensure that we are a welcoming and safe space for everyone who walks through our doors, regardless of your experience, your age, the clothes you wear, or your level of mobility.
